The excellence center Eshkol HaPaice – Ort Ashomron Binyamina, leads by Ms. Michal Cohen, initiator a virtual competition in purpose of promoting the studies of science and the environment in a challenging new way, using the web and special internet forums. The project includes 150 students from ten different elementary schools and their families (the competing teams) and twenty high school students (mature science leadership). The training of the mature science leadership takes place from March till the end of August. This students leads the competing teams in the competition that take place from September till January. The competition includes 3 stages: 1. Virtual riddles published in the competition site every Sunday and Wednesday between the dates of 8th of November until the 3rd of December. At 20:00 the students and there families gather in their houses and answer the questions using the competition forum. 2. Virtual riddles and tasks will be upload to the site in 5.12.2006 at 09:00. Each team gather in there own computer room in there own school and sends there answers threw the site till the end of the limited time. 3. The Final stage on -13.12.2006 will involve the three teams which got to the final. *The model of the competition is based on the Golden Mice Competition which was established by the youth squad at Tel-Aviv University.

Nutrition, astronomy, physics, medicine, animal behavior, materiel and more… *Building up motivation through riddles and other assignments in the virtual science materiel. *Providing learning expertise. *To assimilate qualifications knowledge, education for safe net "surfing", the use of technology, teamwork and consideration for your fellow citizen. *The older students practice the younger students by smart use of the forums, in safe "surfing" in the web, and in teamwork by hading an own example down on the students.
