Projects are submitted to the eLearning Awards in general, not to a specific category. All entries are considered for the top award and evaluators identify projects suitable for special awards.

The top level category of the eLearning Awards is:

The Young Digital Planet Award for the Best Use of ICT

*: 'Whole class teaching' considers the classroom as an inclusive environment where all learning styles are accommodated through the teacher, specifically using interactive technology as a tool to achieve involvement from every child in the lesson.
