Categories
Projects are submitted to the eLearning Awards in general, not to a specific category. Evaluators identify projects suitable for special awards and, together with the eLearning Award partners, select the winning projects.
Winners of the following awards will be invited to attend the prize ceremony to be held in Paris on 8 December 2005.
The top level category of the eLearning Awards is:
The Young Digital Poland Award for the best use of ICT
1st Prize: € 5 000
2nd Prize: € 3 000
3rd Prize: € 2 000
The other categories are:
The Intel Award for mathematics and science
Prize: € 4 000
The Promethean Award for collaborative use of ICT
Prize: € 4 000
The ECDL Foundation Award for use of ICT by a municipal or regional education institution.
Prize: € 3 500
The Oracle Award for culture
Prize: € 3 000
Additionally, the following prizes will be awarded directly to schools:

Prize: Weblingua license (retail value € 8 000)
The Integrator Network Award for special needs
Prize: Brain Wave Audio Visual Entrainment (AVE) lab
Scran will award a number of free one-year subscriptions to its online educational and lifelong learning resources.
